Established in 1972
In 1972, Ron & Corrine Brovetto packed up their bags and left Long Island with their four children. They bought the farm and started Brovettos Dairy. While running the farm they both worked full time jobs; Ron an engineer & Corrine a nurse. Their son, Russell, decided to pursue keeping the farm after getting his degree in Ag Engineering. Thinking bigger for the future, Ron & Russell attended cheese-making courses. With Ron’s engineering skills and Russell’s building skills “Harpersfield Cheese” was created in 2000. Russell’s daughter, Rachel, got her degree in Dairy Production & Management in 2019 and decided to stick with the farm making us a third generation farm.
